On Sunday, Ronaldo struck twice during Juve's victory over Fiorentina to reach the milestone of 50 goals for the club. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star reached the figure in just his 70th appearance for the Bianconeri, which, according to the Daily Mail, is the second-fastest by any player in Italian football history.
The only man to hit a half-century of goals faster than Ronaldo in Italy is former AC Milan striker and 2004 Ballon d'Or winner Andriy Schevchenko, who needed one fewer match to achieve the milestone with Juventus' rivals.
Fellow Ballon d'Or winners Ronaldo Nazario (77 appearances), Marco van Basten (83 appearances) and Michel Platini (84 appearances) round out the top five after excelling during their spells in Italy with Inter Milan, the Rossoneri and Juventus, respectively.
Ronaldo's current teammate Gonzalo Higuain (during his time at Napoli) and AS Roma hitman Edin Dzeko also feature in the top 10, which you can view in full by scrolling through the image gallery above!
