With footballers around the world having joined the fight against the coronavirus by donating money and medical equipment, a Portugal star has revealed an amazing gesture made by his captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Reports: Juventus Make Big Decision On Ronaldo
While the Juventus superstar is believed to have donated medical equipment to hospitals in Portugal, it seems the 35-year-old has not stopped there.
Ronaldo led the charge for his international teammates to donate portions of their 2020 UEFA Championship qualifying bonuses to charities fighting the virus, as revealed by Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva in a recent Instagram Live session.

"He was the one, two or three days ago, that gave us the idea to donate our bonus," Silva told Bleacher Report Football.
Ronaldo Trains At Surprise Club
"We qualified to the 2020 Euros, which now is in 2021, and he gave us the idea: 'Guys, let's donate part of our bonus,' so our national team players donated 50% of our qualifying bonus."
