A shock report has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain have offered Kylian Mbappe the chance to be in charge of their sporting project, meaning he would have the final say on transfers.
According to Madrid-based journalist Edu Aguirre, the French giants have launched one last desperate attempt to hang on to the 23-year-old sensation.
The offer, which would be one for the history books, would reportedly see Mbappe decide which players and coaches the Ligue 1 winners bring in.
It is perhaps important to note that the publication Aguirre works for is pro-Madrid outlet El Chiringuito, leaving many questioning the accuracy of the report.
Here is where Mbappe currently ranks among the 10 highest-paid at PSG:
PSG, though, are said to be incredibly keen to keep Mbappe from joining the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners, but their attempts to do so might be futile considering the player's contract expires in June.
Several reports across Europe have suggested that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has already agreed personal terms with Real and is set to announce his final decision in the coming days.
Mbappe, considered by many to be a future Ballon d'Or winner, has scored 168 goals and assisted a further 87 strikes in 216 matches since joining PSG in 2017.
His last appearance for the club is expected to come against Metz this weekend.
