With captain Sergio Ramos not having long left on his contract at Real Madrid, the defender could reportedly soon reunite with his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Spanish centre-back wants to extend his stay at Los Blancos beyond June 2021, when his current deal expires.
The 34-year-old is eager to stay at the LaLiga giants, where he has been since 2005, but it is claimed the club is not meeting his two-year extension demand.
With Real hesitant to commit to a new contract for their captain, Ramos is now believed to be weighing up a move to Italian giants Juventus.
The Spain international reportedly sees the Bianconeri as his next best alternative, and that move would see him line up alongside Ronaldo once again.
Ramos has represented Los Blancos on 640 occasions to date, scoring 91 goals and winning 21 trophies along the way.
