Samuel Eto’o has revealed who he thinks will replace Lionel Messi at FC Barcelona once the Argentine eventually leaves the club.

The 39-year-old made 199 appearances for the Blaugrana, many of them alongside Messi.
He has now insisted that Guinea Bissau-born Ansu Fati can take over the mantle from the Argentine when the latter's time at the club is over.
"I think he (Ansu Fati) is the one for the future," he told SPORTbible.
"He's currently doing amazing stuff so I think the club really needs to groom him and take very good care of him.
"Let's hope he's the one to take over from Messi."

Barcelona prodigy Fati, who came through the club’s famed La Masia academy, was injured back in November, tearing his meniscus, but his recovery is said to be going well and he could be back on the pitch by March.
Meanwhile, Messi’s current Barcelona contract is running out at the end of the season and he is yet to make a decision on his future.
