Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training in perfect condition, according to Juventus teammate Leonardo Bonucci.
Serie A has been suspended since March, when the country went into lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ronaldo spent his lockdown in Portugal before returning to Turin a few weeks back, with the league season set to resume next week, and his teammate Bonucci had nothing but praise for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's condition when the team resumed full training.
"How did I find him? How I left him," the defender told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He is a super athlete, a great professional. He told me what he did to keep fit during the quarantine.
"He presented himself in perfect condition. He cannot amaze, he is a champion, from all points of view."
Ronaldo is currently second in Serie A's Golden Boot race with 21 goals, six strikes behind Lazio's Ciro Immobile.
The defending Italian champions will resume their league campaign with a trip to Bologna on 22 June.
