Following Real's 3-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday, many were shocked when Ronaldo suggested in a post-match interview that his time at the Spanish giants could be coming to an end.
The 33-year-old's comments were met with great confusion as well as anger, with some feeling that the Portuguese, who did not score on the night, simply wanted attention.
On Monday, Marca reported that many of Ronaldo's teammates were annoyed with him as a result his words, and the same publication has now claimed that Ramos told him: "It isn't good what you have done, it wasn't the right time to say it.
"Wait. Do not insist. You have to take a step back and we will help you. We are with you, but you must help too."
Instead of berating Ronaldo, the captain seemingly offered his support to the former Manchester United forward, despite being upset by his comments.
There has since been contrasting reports on Ronaldo's future, with some suggesting he could possibly return to the Red Devils or even join Paris Saint-Germain, while others claim he will stay with the Spanish giants.
