It has been claimed that several of Real Madrid’s first-team players are unhappy with the recent gesture Cristiano Ronaldo made to Atletico Madrid fans in a recent UEFA Champions League encounter.
Juve lost 2-0 to Diego Simeone’s Los Rojiblancos in their round of 16 first-leg clash last week, where one of the biggest talking points was Ronaldo’s gesture to the home crowd.
In response to the jeers he was receiving, the 34-year-old held up five fingers to his chest, which is believed to be in reference to him having won the competition on five occasions.
After the game, Ronaldo was believed to have said: "I have five Champions League and Atletico has zero," in the mixed zone, as per ESPN.
Now, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, his ex-Los Blancos colleagues were not too impressed by his actions.
"Real Madrid's locker room is hoping that Atleti will eliminate Juventus in the Champions League," he said, according to the Daily Star.
"They are very angry with Cristiano because it seems that he (and not the team) has won the last four Champions Leagues."
The second leg of the tie will take place on 12 March.
