Following weeks of speculation linking Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with a sensational return to Real Madrid, the LaLiga giants have reportedly made a decision over the potential transfer.
Since the beginning of last month, after Ronaldo attended Los Blancos' 2-0 El Clasico win over FC Barcelona, the Portugal star has been linked with a return to his former club in MAdrid, where he scored an incredible 450 goals in just 438 matches.
That move appears unlikely to happen, however, after the record 33-time LaLiga champions reportedly closed the door on the idea of a deal to re-sign the five-time Ballon d'Or winner following his transfer to Juventus in 2018.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Real have not considered the prospect of re-signing Ronaldo since he completed his €100 million (R1.9 billion) move to Juve, with the club no longer able to justify his salary demands in relation to his age.
The 35-year-old reportedly earns €31 million (R616 million) per season with the Bianconeri, a figure Real are unwilling to match, nor are they willing to budge on their season-by-season contractual clauses for the squad's older players.
Nonetheless, it is said that Ronaldo remains hopeful of a return to his former stomping ground, but his future may lie elsewhere should he leave Juve, who themselves are reportedly struggling to honour their contract to him due to the coronavirus.
