With Neymar's future at Paris Saint-Germain uncertain, it is believed the Brazilian's entourage has reached out to FC Barcelona to discuss a possible return.
According to Grup14, the 27-year-old's representatives have been in touch with the Spanish giants to talk about a potential move back to the club.
Neymar's exit from the Blaugrana was a sour one, with the player and his agents fighting with Barca's board until after he had left for PSG.
Although there have been previous reports of a potential return to the Spanish giants for Neymar, this is said to be the first time Barca have genuinely considered bringing the forward back.
In a recent interview, one of the club's directors, Pep Segura, discussed the possibility of the Selecao talisman's return, and notably did not rule it out.
"All players who are in the market are likely to come if they fit our needs. Today, Neymar is not in the market," he said, as per Grup14.
"If one day there is a possibility, does anyone believe that a club like Barca does not have to consider it?
"In the case of Neymar and anyone, we must give our players the best."
If Neymar does seek an exit from the French champions, Barca would reportedly be favourites to secure his signature, with Mundo Deportivo claiming that Real Madrid have cooled their interest in the player.
