Reports: Neymar Lost Temper In Paris Saint-Germain Dressing Room
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar is believed to have lost his cool in his side’s dressing room following their UEFA Champions League defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The Brazilian looked lively in the opening 45 minutes of their round of 16 tie against Real, but could only watch on as his side’s defence crumbled late.
A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and a goal from Marcelo saw Los Blancos beat the French giants 3-1 on the night, after Adrien Rabiot put his side ahead.
According to Don Balon, Neymar reacted furiously after the loss, which the publication speculates was caused by the amount of pressure he is under to deliver.
Many people believe PSG signed the Brazilian to help give them a better chance of winning Europe’s biggest club competition.
It is believed that the 26-year-old blew his top in his team’s changing room following the result, and feels their chances of a comeback in the second leg are minimal.
Neymar cut a frustrated figure for most of the match, receiving a yellow card early on while most of the danger he created was dealt with by Real’s backline.
PSG will host Los Blancos on March 6 at Parc des Princes, where they will look to start on the front foot from the first whistle.
