Following a report that Manchester United are monitoring a Portuguese wonderkid referred to as the "next Cristiano Ronaldo", it is believed the Red Devils could offer up to £100 million (R1.8 billion) for the teenage sensation.
Benfica forward Joao Felix is one of the hottest prospects in Europe at the moment, and has drawn comparisons to his countryman Ronaldo.
Top clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are said to be interested in the 19-year-old as a result.
According to The Sun, however, it is United that are set to make the first move for the winger, by offering Benfica £100 million for his services.
Felix has made 23 senior appearances for the Portuguese side since his debut last year, scoring nine goals and assisting a further five strikes along the way.
The young attacker has represented Portugal at every level except senior level, but could soon be called up if he stays in his current form.
