Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly feels "betrayed" by his club and wants to return to Manchester United.
The 32-year-old is understood to be unhappy about Real's failure to offer him a new, improved contract after he won his fifth Ballon d'Or, and with both Lionel Messi and Neymar now earning more than the Portuguese.
According to Diario AS, Ronaldo has already informed his teammates of his decision to leave at the end of the season, and cited the state of his relationship with Florentino Perez as the reason.
Ronaldo's current deal expires in June 2021, when he will be 35 years old, but he had reportedly been promised an improved deal, which is not forthcoming from the club's side.
The Portugal captain, who has scored only four LaLiga goals this season, joined Los Blancos from United for €94 million (1.42 billion) in 2009.
He has since broken almost all of Real's club records and is the LaLiga giants' all-time record scorer with 422 goals in 418 appearances.
