Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo recently suggested that he could soon quit Los Blancos, and it has now been reported that he is unhappy with the club's interest in Brazilian superstar Neymar.
The Portuguese has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in this transfer window, following comments he made almost immediately after Real's UEFA Champions League triumph over Liverpool two weeks ago.
The 33-year-old suggested then that he will let the club's fans know his decision soon, which surprised many supporters who had no idea he was unhappy to begin with.
Ronaldo reportedly feels he deserves a bigger contract at the club, but according to Sport, he is also unsettled by Real's pursuit of Neymar.
The forward is believed to be upset that the club are willing to spend an exorbitant amount of money on the Paris Saint-Germain attacker while seemingly being unwilling to offer him an improved deal.
He also apparently feels that Neymar would take the spotlight away from him if he did join the Spanish giants.
Since his controversial comments, the Portugal forward is yet to announce whether or not he is staying at Los Blancos.
Ronaldo scored 44 goals and assisted a further eight strikes in 44 games across all competitions for Real in the 2017/18 campaign.
