Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be unhappy in Spain, and is believed to want to quit Real Madrid. With Los Blancos seemingly willing to sell him, could he join the latest surprise club he has been linked with?
Following Real's UEFA Champions League final win over Liverpool, the 33-year-old shocked many when he revealed he was considering an exit from the club.
The likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been said to be in for his signature since, but it has now been claimed his future might lie in Italy.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have been in contact with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes with regard to a potential purchase of the Portugal captain.
Mendes has reportedly held discussions with the Italian giants in recent weeks, and the main reason many believe this to be true is due to the agent's relationship with Juventus' owners.
A recent report out of Spain also claimed that Real have reduced Ronaldo's buyout clause to €120 million (R1.9 billion), which might prove they are willing to let him leave in this window.
It has also been said that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has no plans to give in to the Portuguese's salary demands.
Despite being in his thirties, Ronaldo keeps proving he is nowhere near finished at the highest level, especially after his four goals in four matches for Portugal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
