Following the European Cup final triumph against Liverpool last weekend, Ronaldo stunned many by hinting at a possible exit.
According to Marca, weeks before the final, Ronaldo had already spoken to team-mates about moving to a new club.
The decision believed to anger the captains of the dressing room, according to Marca.
Zinedine Zidane's shock departure as Real head coach this week has taken the spotlight away from Ronaldo's future, although it remains an issue for the club.
However, the same report claims that the Los Blancos hierarchy are calm about the situation, as they feel the player's giant release clause can stop his desire for a move elsewhere.
