Mauricio Pochettino's men maintained their perfect record in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Montpellier on Saturday evening.
Mbappe was not able to find the back of the net and was hauled off in the final two minutes ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League tie against Manchester City.
According to RMC, the Frenchman looked frustrated on the bench as he complained to Idrissa Gueye about Neymar not passing him the ball.
The French publication claims Mbappe told the Senegalese, "He [Neymar] does not give me that pass."
Pochettino also defended his French star after he came in for some criticism for his behaviour last week.
"I can understand what he [Antonetti] said after the game, it's a statement after a defeat in stoppage time," the PSG coach said, as per Goal.
"As for Kylian, he is a wonderful boy, and a great competitor who always wants to win. And the things that happen on the pitch must be put into context.
"I can understand the frustration of Frederic Antonetti but if there is a quality that Kylian has, it is humility."
