Sergio Aguero was looking forward to playing with Lionel Messi at FC Barcelona, but it has now reportedly been revealed how he reacted to the superstar's exit.
The pair are no strangers to playing alongside each other, having been with the Argentine national side for over a decade while they also won Olympic gold medal in 2008.
Messi was also said to be one of the reasons Aguero decided to join Barcelona this season but he, along with the rest of the world, were shocked to hear the superstar will not be returning to the Camp Nou.
There were reports claim that Aguero was already considering his future, but Spanish outlet Sport have reported that former Manchester City striker remains comitted to the Catalan outfit.
Aguero also told reporters at the club's training ground that he intends to stay with the LaLiga giants despite Messi's shock departure.
"Don't worry, you have me all year long," Aguero said, as per Goal.
Barcelona fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Aguero in action as he expected to miss the next two months with a calf injury.
