One of Lionel Messi's Argentina teammates recently impressed the superstar, and FC Barcelona are now reportedly chasing the starlet who could become something of a World Cup sensation.

Albiceleste winger Cristian Pavon assisted Messi's third goal in Argentina's 4-0 win over Haiti last week, and impressed many pundits and fans with his fine performance in the match.
The 22-year-old, who has previously been linked with Arsenal, is currently on the books of Boca Juniors, but reports in Argentina have now linked him with a move to the Blaugrana.
According to Argentine journalist Leo Paradizo, who spoke to Radio Continental, as cited by AS, Barca have made contact with Boca after Messi's recent words of praise for the winger.
"I've found a new partner in Pavon, he's a really good player," Messi said after the win over Haiti.
"He's very quick and is different to what we have in the squad.
"With the qualities he has, Pavon could really be an important player for the national team. He's not only really quick, but his decision-making is also excellent."

Pavon, who finished as the top assist provider in Boca's title-winning campaign in Argentina’s Superliga, has revealed that it would be a "dream" to play alongside Messi for Argentina, and is considered by many as a players who could potentially surprise at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, which could see his price tag skyrocket.
