Real Teammates Starting To Question Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates are reportedly starting to question some of his decisions on the pitch as he experiences his longest goal drought in the league since joining Real Madrid.

The Portuguese superstar once again failed to shine in a big match when Real only drew 1-1 with crosstown rivals Atletico.

According to Marca, there is a growing belief in the dressing room that Gareth Bale should get more responsibility at the Bernabeu.

The Welshman recently recovered from injury and was only fit enough to come on as a second-half substitute in that match, leaving Ronaldo and Karim Benzema with the task of getting the goals.

However, the Portugal captain has now gone four consecutive La Liga games without scoring, his joint-worst run at the club.

Marca have also claimed that some of Ronaldo's teammates have noticeably called a few of his actions on the pitch into question.

It almost seems as if he is trying too hard at the moment as he experiences his worst conversion rate since joining the club – he has 55 shots in seven games, which means he has only scored with every 11th shot, as pointed out by ESPN.

Of course, Ronaldo recently equalled Raul Gonzalez's record goal tally for the club and shone with five strikes against Espanyol, but he wasn't able to score in Real's other six league games this campaign – three of which ended in draws.

The 30-year-old has somewhat adapted his game and finds himself more at the end of Real's moves these days, rather than starting them like he did in the beginning of his Los Blancos career.

He has done so to remain a force despite getting older, but, as a consequence, he is more dependent on the services of teammates such as Bale, Isco and James Rodriguez.

It is perhaps no coincidence that Ronaldo has struggled for goals in the absence of Bale and Rodriguez (due to injury).
