Real Madrid's new Brazilian wonderkid, who has often been dubbed the "New Neymar", has revealed he dreams of celebrating goals with Cristiano Ronaldo, and that he has a special celebration in store for the Portuguese.
Vinicius Junior has already signed for Los Blancos and will join the Spanish giants for a deal worth €45 million (R671 million); the only question is when he makes the switch to Madrid. Recent reports suggest that the 17-year-old will move from his current club Flamengo to take part in Real's pre-season for the upcoming campaign after turning 18 in July.
Right now, the Brazilian starlet, who has broken several domestic records set by his countryman Neymar, is watching Ronaldo and company from afar, but was inspired by the 33-year-old's bicycle kick goal last week.
"When I saw the goal that Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Juventus, I thought that one day I'll get to play with one of the best players of all time," the teenager told Segue o Baile, as cited by Marca.
"I imagined celebrating goals with him. When I've gained his confidence, I'll even show him a dance."
Vinicius also revealed that Real's Brazilian duo also played an important role in his decision to join Los Blancos.
"Casemiro and Marcelo helped me a lot when I was making the decision, they told me I had to play for the best team," he added.
"Now, I'm going to leave the best team in Brazil to join the biggest one in the world.
"I still don't know when I'll join them. They will tell me. I'll give them the OK whenever it happens."
