Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been in great form of late, has admitted he would be happy with what he has achieved if he were to retire now.

Speaking about his five Ballon d'Or titles recently, the 33-year-old said he has achieved the ambitions he set for himself when he was younger, and admitted he would be happy with the career he has had if he had to hang up his boots now.

"I never dreamed of winning the Ballon d'Or five times," Ronaldo told Desimpedidos.

"If I had to finish my career now, I would be super happy, (but) if I won another Ballon d'Or, two or three more times, I'd be delighted with life.

"Even if I don't win, I've already won five, but I still have the confidence and the strength to compete for the prize. It depends on the titles we win this year.

"Everything I dreamed of, I achieved."

In addition to his five Ballon d'Or titles, Ronaldo has won everything there is to win at club level, and has also lifted a major trophy with Portugal on the international stage.

He has also won FIFA's Best Men Footballer of the year twice... and Messi is yet to win it. Is that the reason you didn't mention those awards Mr editor?
