The Portuguese has been in fine form recently, scoring 12 goals in his past seven games across all competitions.
On Saturday, Ronaldo was on a brace when Los Blancos were awarded a late penalty after Gareth Bale had been brought down in their 4-0 home win over Alaves, but opted against taking the spot-kick himself. Instead, he allowed Benzema to score only his fourth LaLiga goal of the current campaign.
The unselfish act is underlined by the fact that the 33-year-old currently sits on 299 LaLiga goals and 49 career hat-tricks, but he seemingly decided to pause his personal record hunt to support his teammate.
Benzema scored the penalty, while Ronaldo will have to wait a little longer to score his milestone goal.
Overall, the Portugal talisman has now scored 28 goals in all competitions for Real this season, with 14 of those coming in the Spanish top flight.
