The Portuguese scored his side's late 1-1 equaliser to save Zinedine Zidane’s men from defeat on Wednesday.
It was the first time the visitors avoided a loss against Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu in 13 years, after Inaki Williams had put Athletic in front in the first half.
Ronaldo has now scored in 12 successive appearances for only the second time in his career, netting 22 goals in the run that started against Real Sociedad on 10 February.
He scored an impressive 22 goals over this run, and matched his record from 2014 when he scored 20 goals in 12 consecutive appearances between August and November.
The 33-year-old has now scored 24 goals in LaLiga this season, five short of Lionel Messi, who leads the Pichichi race.
Overall, it was Ronaldo's 42nd goal in all competitions of the current campaign – more than any other player in Europe.
