Real Madrid President: Cristiano Ronaldo Is Angry
Real Madrid's president has admitted that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is angry about his current situation in Spain.
The Portugal captain is yet to speak about the recent rumours that he wants to leave Los Blancos following allegations of tax fraud by Spanish authorities.
Ronaldo has since been linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu, but although club president Florentino Perez is yet speak to the 32-year-old about his current situation, he does not expect the forward to leave Madrid.
"I know Cristiano is angry, but I think he will stay," Perez told esRadio.
"I haven't spoken with him.
"The only thing that has to be done is to wait and talk after the (FIFA) Confederations Cup."
Perez did admit, though, that he has spoken to Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, and insisted there is nothing to worry about.
"I have spoken with Mendes about him. No need to worry more than (is needed)," he added.
Ronaldo scored 42 goals and set up a further 12 strikes in 46 matches for Real last season.
