Real Madrid fans had the opportunity to give their verdict on their stars' display against Las Palmas on Sunday, and it appears Cristiano Ronaldo is not a favourite among the supporters at the moment.
Spanish publication AS recently ran a poll for Los Blancos fans to take part in, and the question was: "Which Real Madrid players distinguished themselves in Sunday's game in Las Palmas?"
More than 11 000 supporters reportedly took part in the survey, and it seems not many were pleased with Ronaldo's showing in the club's 2-1 win.
Of course, the fans could vote for more than one player, but only 12% of the Los Blancos faithful showed sympathy for Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star was heavily criticised by fans for his performance in the fixture, and it has also been reported that it was the least effective Ronaldo has been in a single match in his 13-year career as a professional.
Casemiro and Keylor Navas were among those the fans were most pleased with – the Brazilian midfielder scored the 89th minute winner, while the goalkeeper made some sublime saves to keep Las Palmas at bay.
Despite the criticism, Ronaldo is Real's top scorer this season, with 40 strikes in 37 appearances, and has assisted a further 13 strikes.
