On Wednesday, the Ligue 1 giants' sporting director Leonardo admitted that the 22-year-old forward does want to join Los Blancos. While it has seemingly been common knowledge, it was the first time somebody from PSG had publicly revealed Mbappe's wishes.
In a scathing statement, the Brazilian club official went on to lambast the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners for their pursuit of Mbappe, claiming their behaviour has been illegal.
While Leonardo revealed that PSG did reject Real's first offer, it is thought that the French club could be tempted to sell the player should Los Blancos president Florentino Perez up his bid.
According to Diario Madridista, the Paris-based side has a contingency plan in place, with four players said to be lined up as potential replacements, a list that is said to include Cristiano Ronaldo.
Everton's Richarlison is also reported to be on PSG's shortlist, with the Selecao international having contributed to 53 goals in 121 matches for the Merseyside club since his arrival in 2018 – you can see the other two candidates in the mini-gallery above!
