Reports: Six Strikers On Real's Shortlist
Messi is yet to feature for his country since the 2018 FIFA World Cup, after a disappointing campaign that saw the Albiceleste being knocked out by eventual winners France in the round of 16.
The 31-year-old, who scored just once in the four matches Argentina played in Russia, has been unavailable for the past three international breaks since the global tournament.
Dybala has now stated that all the players in the squad would love to have Messi back in the team.
"We all want Messi back in the national team," he said, according to Calciomercato.
"We all know the importance of Leo for us, but is a choice that depends on him."
