'Paul Pogba Is Unhappy Because Of Alexis Sanchez'
Superstar Paul Pogba has been criticised heavily in recent weeks, and it has now been speculated that the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at Manchester United has hurt him.
A dark cloud has been cast over Pogba's season in the past month, with the player getting only 154 minutes in United's past three league games.
While many believe the Frenchman and manager Jose Mourinho are not seeing eye to eye, former United midfielder Paul Ince feels Pogba's problems might stem from Sanchez's arrival at Old Trafford.
"Since Sanchez joined the club, Pogba's confidence and mood seem to have gone in the opposite direction to earlier in the season," Ince wrote in a column for Paddy Power.
"He looks like a totally different player. It's probably due to the fact that, pre-Sanchez, he was the main man. He was the kingpin and the one everyone was talking about. But the arrival of Sanchez has taken the shine off him.
"What I would say is, at United, you're all main men. You should all perform like that, too.
"Looking at the Newcastle game, you could see from his body language that he's fed up. Whatever it is, it's a problem that needs addressing."
Sanchez was reportedly made the highest paid player when he signed from Arsenal, overtaking Pogba as the club's best earner.
