With Paris Saint-Germain reportedly set to fire manager Mauricio Pochettino, the club's board seems to have outlined their future plans for Lionel Messi.
Big changes are expected at the Ligue 1 champions over the course of the next few months, amid reports suggesting that Pochettino will be replaced ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

While he added a 39th trophy to his career collection of silverware on the weekend, Messi's debut season in Paris has been largely underwhelming given his previous standards, with the forward having netted on just nine occasions across all competitions so far.
The coming campaign, however, could be different for the ex-Barcelona captain, with reports suggesting Antonio Conte has shown an interest in taking charge of PSG from next season.
In addition to his nine strikes, Messi has also assisted a further 13 strikes in 30 matches for Les Parisiens this season, with there being four league games left to play.
