It has been reported that Paris Saint-Germain have made a final decision on Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, whom they have been closely linked with of late.
According to The Athletic, the French giants will not target the 36-year-old Portugal international in the coming transfer window due to the fall in Ligue 1's TV rights deal.
PSG, it is said, are not in the position to rival Manchester United for the forward's signature due to the club's current financial situation.
Despite Neymar and Kylian Mbappe having been linked with moves away from the Ligue 1 side in recent months, the club is expected to keep hold of both high-profile players going into the next campaign.
While Neymar has already officially extended his contract with the club, Real Madrid-linked Mbappe is yet to commit to a new deal with Les Parisiens, with his current contract set to expire in June 2022.
It is further claimed that Premier League giants United have made contact with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, but would only be willing to take him back to Old Trafford if he accepted a 50% pay cut.
Ronaldo spent six years on the Red Devils' books from 2003 to 2009, scoring 118 goals in 292 matches for the club.
