Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery has talked about the rumours that Neymar could leave the French giants.
The former Sevilla boss has insisted that PSG have no plans to let Neymar, who has been linked with Real Madrid, leave the club.
“When we took him (from Barcelona) it was with one precise goal, the club and the president want him to stay and he’s going to stay here,” he said, according to L’Equipe.
Emery has also addressed the rumours that the 25-year-old is unhappy in France.
“All footballers are men before being footballers. I speak to Neymar, and it’s that which is more important than rumours,” he added.
“Adapting is different for each player and more or less quick. We’re doing everything to help him to adapt as well as possible.
“But the most important thing is the pitch and his performances there.”
On the football front, Neymar has scored 11 goals in 12 matches, while he has assisted a further nine strikes.
