FC Barcelona's president has reportedly claimed that 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele is a better player than Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar.
Neymar left the Catalan giants for PSG for a world record transfer fee in 2017 following some great success in Spain alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
With rumours suggesting the Blaugrana were considering re-signing the Selecao talisman, the Spanish club's president Josep Maria Bartomeu refused to respond directly to the speculation when asked about it recently, but did insist that Dembele is a better player.
"I won't say yes or no," he told Cadena SER.
"I say that, with their money, Barca made a sporting bet. With that money, we went for players like Dembele and Coutinho.
"Dembele is better than Neymar. He's at Barca and he is better."
The France star has played 56 matches for the Blaugrana since joining them in August 2017, scoring 17 goals and assisting a further 16 strikes.
