Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has revealed he is relishing the opportunity to face Lionel Messi and Argentina in the CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Friday.
Luiz: Why I Returned To Chelsea
Messi recently went back on his decision to retire from international football after meeting with new boss Edgardo Bauza in the build-up to this fixture, and the Galatasaray shot-stopper is glad the FC Barcelona superstar did so.
"For us, to play against a player like Messi is beautiful," Muslera told reporters, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
"To share the pitch with players like Messi, but not only him – Luis (Suarez) too, Edi (Cavani) are top players.
"It is nice, very enjoyable and also makes the match more exciting."
