Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his sensational transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus in a club record deal for the Italian giants.

The Portuguese has joined the Serie A champions in a €105 million (R1.65 billion) transfer after agreeing to a four-year deal worth €30 million (R475 million) a season, becoming both Juventus' record signing as well as Real's most expensive sale in the process.

He leaves Los Blancos after nine years, having scored 450 goals and assisted another 131 strikes in 438 games for the club. In addition, he also lifted 16 of his overall 28 trophies with Real.

The 33-year-old reportedly grew unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu after club president Florentino Perez broke his promise about offering him a new contract.

Ronaldo and his entourage are believed to have agreed with Real to lower his €1 billion (R16 billion) release clause to €105 million, and the Bianconeri have now paid as much to the Spanish giants.

Ronaldo will reportedly have his medical at Juventus next week and will wear the No. 7 shirt, with the Italian giants becoming the fourth official club of his senior career.

I am hurt beyond the word hurt for seeing CR7 leaving Real Madrid and joining Juventus, whether they win the UEFA Champions League I don't mind but what pains me is to see the man who made me fall in love with La Liga and Real Madrid leave but well players come and go hence I have to admit that CR7 is gone but I am sure he has written his name in bold letters to all of us madristers and for that he will remain the goat,as CR7 personal fan I am following him all the way to Seri A

@Obriegas there's nothing wrong with being a Madrid or Ronaldo supporter but your comparison of Messi and Ronaldo is just plain biased.

@Ms Momo you telling me about one penalty which he passed his player since he noticed that it was too late for him to beat Ronaldo on a Golden Boot, so he wanted Suarez to beat Ronaldo, im sure you know that very well. I can't be telling you about this come on

@Ms Momo Ronaldo got followers in denial, you're one of them. That's why you call him cow after all the successes he achieved with Portugal, Man u and Madrid, you sound to have answers byt decided to be denial.Wait and see what he will be doing in Italy, success on his way. Let me tip you, remember when messi was angry after they said he will be arrested for tax evasion? Didn't he want to leave Barcelona? Ronaldo was a victim too and he said he is unhappy and he will leave and so he did.

@Ms Momo if you can use your common sense you would understand why Messi's name was brought up, and to ask, Ronaldo was injured for so many times and after he made impact after he recuperated wasnt he? You sound very hurt, I can tell that you hate Ronaldo with passion, you're just denial.

Real snubbed Penaldo simply because he asked for an unreasonable wage increase.....on the other hand Barca feels Messi is priceless, buffleheads will always gonna bring up UCL success when comparing Penaldo and Messi. If Penaldo was as good as what some people believe then Real wasn’t gonna let the guy go.

Perez has killed Madrid and LA Liga. To be honest, I only started watching this league when Ronaldo came in and I am sure I will follow Serie A now. Madrid will struggle for 2 seasons if not more because I sense more players leaving in the next 2 years or less. La Liga won't be the same. All the best to Ronaldo and I wish him success, am I the only one who feels he will get the Ballon Dor again?

@obriegas wen ever ronaldo subject is brought u lack thinking who is talking abt Messi now agree with many people who says Messi is a headache to u guys weather onform/ofform/injured wana ask u nid answer dat penalty he missed at de world cup was it a crucial since u want to talk abt Messi he think of himself only no he not selfish e.g (penalty pass to surez) he doesn't celebrate equalising goals even if he de one who scored he would rather celebrate his teamate wining goal not dat cow (ronaldo) who doesn't care as to wether de lost or win as long as he on de scoresheet

@Ms Momo so it is Messi and not Ronaldo who scored 2 decisive goals for Portugal in 3 all draw against Hungary, which made them qualify in their group which led them to be the Europe champions? how old are you?
