Following Messi's controversial and drawn-out transfer saga in August and the beginning of September, the Argentine has been the subject of a number of reports that do not paint him in the best light.
Former Barcelona manager Setien publicly claimed Messi was difficult to manage, serving as a reminder to many that, while the forward is generally quite shy, he might not always be the easiest to please.

After Setien's remarks, another report suggested that the Argentine once asked the Spaniard to respect the Blaugrana players who had won more silverware than him, once again casting a dark shadow over his recent time in Spain.
New arrival Pedri, however, has so far enjoyed a great working relationship with Messi, whom he says has given him a lot of help on and off the field.
"He helps me a lot on the pitch, Messi is giving me a lot of advice and that is brilliant," the 17-year-old said, according to Diario Sport.
