Despite Neymar's commitment being criticised in the past, one Paris Saint-Germain teammate believes the Brazil star wouldn't be as good as he is if he tried to train like Cristiano Ronaldo.
PSG's third-choice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka recently took part in an interview with Polish YouTube channel Foot Truck where he explained how Neymar's laid-back approach made him a better player.
"(The) guy sure likes to change his hairstyle. He dances before the games, that seems to be a Brazilian thing," Bulka said.
"Honestly, if he had rigorous training like CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo), I don’t think he would be as good as he is. Brazilians need to be relaxed to play at the top level."
Neymar joined PSG from FC Barcelona in 2017 for a world record transfer fee of €200 million (R3.4 billion) and has scored 67 goals in 78 appearances for the club.
