With speculation of a potential Neymar exit from Paris Saint-Germain rife in recent weeks, it seems the Brazilian's future has been decided.
Neymar 'Interested In EPL Move'
The most expensive player in football history has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes of late, but there is now a twist in the tale of Neymar's potential departure.
The reigning Ligue 1 champions officially appointed Christophe Galtier as their new manager on Tuesday, and in his opening press conference as PSG boss, he confirmed that he would like the Brazilian to stay at the club as he has a very clear idea of how to utilise him.
"What manager wouldn't want a player like Neymar in their squad?" Galtier asked, according to Get French Football News.
"I have a very precise idea of what I expect from him.
"I haven't met him yet, I will, but I want him to stay with us.
"It's always better to have a player of that class with us."
Having just taken over from the outgoing Mauricio Pochettino, it seemed that the Brazilian would suffer the same fate as the Argentine tactician following Les Parisiens' UEFA Champions League capitulation against Real Madrid earlier this year and make hios leave from the club.
The likes of Barcelona, Newcastle United and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
Galtier has, however, put all of that to bed, with the Frenchman not keen on seeing the world-class talent leave the French capital just yet.
