One of FC Barcelona's bosses has seemingly opened the door to a potential and sensational return for superstar Neymar.
The Brazilian left the Catalan giants to join Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2017/18 season for a world-record fee of €222 million (R3.56 billion).
He has often impressed for Les Parisiens since, but rumours of a return to the Camp Nou have appeared regularly in the media throughout his stay in France thus far.
Barca sporting director Pep Segura has now insisted the club would study a sensational return for Neymar if he becomes available.
"All players who are in the market are likely to come if they fit our needs," he said, as quoted by AS.
"Today, Neymar is not in the market. If one day there is a possibility, does anyone believe that a club like Barca does not have to consider it?
"In the case of Neymar and anyone, we must give our partners the best."
Segura also stated that no one at the club has forgotten about Neymar's controversial departure, but insisted the player's quality would be the deciding factor for a transfer.
"We must not forget the affront that Neymar made to us all as a club," he added.
"But if we believe that, despite this, it must be him, it will be him. And finally, it is important that the economic part fits."
Neymar has scored 41 goals and assisted another 23 strikes in just 46 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain so far.
