Superstar Neymar has commented on the recent jeers he has received from Paris Saint-Germain fans following another penalty-kick incident involving Edinson Cavani.
The Brazilian was booed in PSG's 8-0 Ligue 1 win over Dijon after he took a penalty to score his fourth goal of the match, instead of giving it to Cavani, who at the time was one goal away from becoming the club's record scorer.
While Cavani has since made history at Les Parisiens, Neymar has admitted he was hurt by the crowd's reaction.
"Of course, I was annoyed (to be booed at), but we're here for that; to be booed, to be applauded," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"The manager chose me as the penalty taker and there's no problem with that.
"Everyone knows what happened in the dressing room, where the coach has decided and I have to take on the responsibility."
Neymar has scored 24 goals and assisted a further 16 strikes in 23 games for PSG so far this season.
