FC Barcelona's new Brazilian signing is looking forward to teaming up with five-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, who he hopes to learn a lot from in Spain.
The Catalan club recently unveiled 21-year-old Arthur at the Camp Nou, after negotiating to bring him to Spain in this transfer window instead of in January 2019.
The former Gremio starlet has shown a lot of promise over the past two years, and has now stated he cannot wait to play alongside Barca's record goalscorer Messi.
"Messi is the best in the world and to play with him makes me happy," Arthur told Sport.
"I want to learn from my teammates who are great figures.
"All the players in the world want to play for Barca, and with this signing, it feels like my effort has been worth it."
Arthur played 50 senior games for Gremio before his big move to Spain, scoring two goals and assisting a further three strikes.
