It has been claimed that some younger players at Manchester United are intimidated by Cristiano Ronaldo and feel he is not easily approachable.
The 36-year-old returned to the Red Devils in August last year to the surprise of many after 12 years away from the club following a six-year spell in England between 2003 and 2009.
Ronaldo left the English giants in a then-world-record move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he scored 450 goals in 438 appearances over nine years, before joining Italian club Juventus in 2018.
Following his return, it was suggested by some of Ronaldo's former United teammates that he would provide a massive lift to the dressing room, and particularly to the up-and-coming stars in the side.
However, The Athletic has reported that certain young players at the club feel slightly intimidated by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner as they believe he is not always easy to approach.
This comes days after Ronaldo reacted angrily to being substituted by interim boss Ralf Rangnick in their 3-1 win over Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Portugal talisman's relationship with Mason Greenwood has been questioned since early on in the season, with the English talent appearing to sometimes frustrate the forward with his tendency to shoot for goal rather than look for a pass.
The report also pointed out that Jadon Sancho has scored just one goal while Ronaldo has been on the field, while Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and Bruno Fernandes have managed only two strikes each.
Despite there being concerns about his overall influence, the five-time UEFA Champions League winner has contributed with 14 strikes in 22 games across all competitions so far this season.
