Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez has revealed what his relationship with Lionel Messi has been like since he was forced out of FC Barcelona in the most recent transfer window.

The 33-year-old has made a good start to life at Los Rojiblancos since his arrival in September, having scored five goals and assisted one strike in nine matches.
Suarez was not happy with the way Barcelona handled his transfer, though, especially after the Uruguayan played an integral role in the side over the past six years, with even Ronald Koeman admitting it was the board's decision to sell him.
In a recent interview, the former Liverpool forward revealed that he is still in constant communication with Messi – who was reportedly furious with the Blaugrana after Suarez was sold – but claimed they do not spend a lot of time discussing football.

"The truth is that we speak a lot, but, honestly, we talk about our life," the Atletico attacker told Marca.
"It was recently the birthday of one of my children, also his. We talked about life, the virus, everything, but very little about football, about the goals we miss or about tactical systems.
"We worry more about how the family is than about what happens in football.
"I was sad and hurt by the way I left – I already said it. But when they close a door, five more open to you where they value my work, professionalism and trajectory. I feel proud.
"Where they did not want me, there was another that wanted me. I found happiness and I'm enjoying this moment now."
Suarez scored 195 goals and assisted a further 113 strikes in 283 matches for the Blaugrana.
