Luis Enrique believes that Lionel Messi is 'without a doubt' the best player in the world and confirmed that Luis Suarez is settling in well at Barcelona.
In an interview with AS, Luis Enrique has spoken about the development of his team, heading into tonight’s clash with Club Leon in the Gamper Trophy.
“Leo can play in any position. He will have freedom to move positions in attack,” Enrique said about Messi.
”He’s without a doubt the best player in the world and we will adapt ourselves around him.”
The Barcelona coach then went on to describe his first impressions of new striker, Luis Suarez, who started to train with the Catalan giants on Friday.
“In the two sessions that he's been in you can see he's a top level player. I know how we play and fits the profile, and I'd like to be able to give him some minutes tomorrow as a reward for the work he's done on his own," Enrique continued.
After being quizzed about whether Barcelona would make any further signings in the current transfer window, the 44-year-old indicated that the club's business is not finished.
“I'm not saying it's closed. Not me, nor anyone at the club. You always look to strengthen and you always have to be the strongest," he added.
Luis Suarez is likely to make his debut for Barcelona in tonight’s clash against Club Leon at 20:30.
