Lionel Messi Sets Unwanted LaLiga Record
FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi set an unwanted LaLiga record during his side's 2-0 win over Eibar on Saturday.
The Catalan giants returned to winning ways as goals from Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba secured the win over ten-man Eibar.
Messi, however, endured a frustrating afternoon in front of goal, which saw him hit the woodwork just before the break.
In doing so, the Argentine set a new LaLiga record for hitting the woodwork more than any player in a single season.
The Catalan giants currently sit 10 points ahead of Atletico Madrid, who occupy second spot in La Liga.
