Lionel Messi's father Jorge has reacted to recent transfer rumours linking his son with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Jorge, who also acts as his son's agent, has responded to a report by ESPN suggesting that the FC Barcelona captain could join PSG next year.
"Stop inventing (stories)," he wrote on Twitter in a post with a link to the report, along with a "fake news" hashtag.

Messi's current deal expires at the end of this season, with the player having revealed that he wanted to leave the club in the most recent transfer window.
However, he was denied his wish to depart on a free transfer by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu, and will now reportedly wait for a new president to be confirmed before making a decision on his future.
As of right now, Messi could sign a pre-contract with a potential new club in January 2021, when he will only have six months left on his contract with Barca.
