FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, who is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time, has revealed the name of the best striker he has ever seen.
With 674 goals to his name for club and country, the 32-year-old Argentine is among the most prolific forwards football has ever seen.
Many past and present players and coaches have even gone as far as labelling Messi an "alien", implying that what he does with a ball at his feet is other-worldly.
Before Messi, however, Brazil icon Ronaldo Nazario brought about similar emotions in supporters, and in the FC Barcelona talisman too.
"Ronaldo (Nazario) was a phenomenon, of all the strikers I ever saw, he was the best," he told TyC Sports.
"He was unbelievable."

Ronaldo became the youngest player to win the Ballon d'Or award in 1996, aged 20, and is still widely thought of as the best No. 9 in the history of the sport.
