Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola have a special relationship and they could now reunite in the Premier League.
The Argentine blossomed under the Spaniard after Guardiola took charge of FC Barcelona in 2008.
The duo won 14 trophies in just four years together, with Messi breaking many goalscoring records under the manager's guidance.
It seems insane to think they could now reunite in England, but it is possible.
Guardiola has been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea, while both clubs were also mentioned in recent rumours surrunding Messi and a move to the Premier League.
According to reports, Manchester United are in the driving seat to lure the Argentine to England if he decides to leave the Camp Nou.
The recent tax fraud claims that have been levelled at Messi have reportedly upset him quite a bit, leading to him considering an exit from the Catalans.
If Guardiola were to leave Bayern at the end of the season and join one of the abovementioned English giants, he could persuade the Argentina captain to join the same team and get their partnership up and running again.
Messi scored 211 goals and assisted 96 others in just 219 games under Guardiola, more than under his five other first team coaches combined.
