FC Barcelona’s attacking trio, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez have outscored many European giants and also scored more league goals than Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits combined.
Messi (41), Neymar (22) and Suarez (16) scored 79 goals in La Liga this season, while PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs ended the campaign with 41 strikes and Wits scored just 34 goals.
Overall, Barcelona have hit the back of the net 108 times - in Europe's top leagues, they are only beaten by Real Madrid, who scored 111 La Liga goals this season.
But Chiefs and Wits don’t need to feel too bad, as the Messi-Suarez-Neymar (MSN) connection has outscored all but three European giants.
Besides Real, only Manchester City (81 goals) and Paris Saint-Germain (80 strikes) have scored more than the Barcelona attacking line.
English champions Chelsea (70), Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich (78) and Serie A winners Juventus (67) all won the domestic titles despite scoring less than MSN.
Overall, Messi, Suarez and Neymar sit on 115 strikes in all competitions and are only three short of the world record, set by Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain in 2011/12.
