With rumours of Neymar's potential return to FC Barcelona cooling, it has now been claimed that Lionel Messi desperately wants the Brazilian back at the Camp Nou, and might even issue an ultimatum to the club's president to ensure the move happens.

Neymar has returned to Paris to join the club's pre-season tour of China, despite telling sporting director Leonardo he wants to leave.
Right now, though, the news around his potential move to Barcelona has slowed down, with both clubs yet to agree terms after PSG reportedly rejected Barca's player-plus-cash offers so far.
Some have questioned whether or not the Catalan giants really need Neymar after already spending more than €200 million (R3.1 billion) on new players in this window.
Spanish football expert Graham Hunter, though, believes Messi is keen on having the 27-year-old back at the club, and could even use his reported contract extension as a bargaining tool.
"The fact is: Messi wants Neymar back," Hunter explained on Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast.
"He, Suarez and Neymar – although they are absolutely crystal-clear that they are different characters, very different people – they still get on and are very friendly.
"And Messi found a partner he could play with, a partner who understood him technically, who serviced him but also created masses of space for Messi.
"It's clear Messi believes his route back to (win) the Champions League isn't just Neymar specifically, but that it is more people supplying more goals for him.
"He's supplying a higher level of assists than he ever has before, his conversion of free-kicks is higher than before.
"Barcelona have sorted out their midfield problems by adding Frenkie de Jong this market, Arthur last market.
"And therefore that helps shore up a defence where I think they're going to try and keep Samuel Umtiti, who Paris Saint-Germain would like.
"Umtiti is, right now, someone Barcelona don't want to trade, and therefore Messi is a central player in going to the president; 'if you want me to sit down and start talking about a new contract, first bring me Neymar'."
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation, and have offered PSG a deal worth €90 million (R1.4 billion) plus Gareth Bale to secure Neymar's signature.
